Private 2 open/adjacent back Room(s) are reserved for USNA Alumni & Guests, Large Capacity up to 85 people.

Time:              Arrive at 1:00 PM (order lunch and drinks) for a 2:00 PM (Central) Kickoff on CBS

Who:              USNA Alumni, Family, Friends, USNA Parents Club, Navy League. West Point is having their own separate Watch Party this year in Lenexa.  RSVP to Bob Culler bob.culler@1974.usna.com or text to 913 488-6319 cell phone, by Dec 9. We need to fill up this place. Please RSVP when you receive this notice.

Cost:              No cover charge to get in. Local USNA Alumni however, but it is a great time to prepay your 2024 chapter dues make the check payable to: Greater KC Chapter, USNA AA for $25 and pay to Eric Carlson ’74 Treasurer. (FYI, local USNA chapters are required to collect dues from alumni to be considered a viable chapter from our national USNA AA by-laws)

Food and Drinks:  Order individually off the Johnny’s Tavern Menu.

Uniform:        Navy or Appropriate USNA Spirit Wear. Anything with “Beat Army” will also suffice. The theme for the Navy football uniforms is the Submarine “Silent Service” for 2023.

Raffle Tickets:  Raffle tickets will be sold for 5 for $10, 10 for $15, and 20 for $20.  Please bring some cash. This raffle is to raise money for our Treasury. Drawings will be held at halftime.

“Top Gun Maverick” Comes to Kansas City!

The Navy League of Greater Kansas City has partnered with Union Station and Mark One Electric to bring you the long-awaited Premiere of “Top Gun Maverick”!

Be one of the first to see “Top Gun Maverick” and also support the Harry S. Truman Sea Cadet Squadron

WHEN: 5:00 PM on Thursday, May 26

WHERE: Union Station, Privitera Innovation Center.

We will have a Premiere Party prior to the showing of “Top Gun Maverick” which you will not want to miss!

Our own “Top Guns”, Admiral Jeff Penfield and Commander Jesse Reed will share their real-life experiences as Aircraft Carrier Based Naval Aviators.

Proceeds from the Premier Party will go to support the Summer Training of the

Harry S. Truman Sea Cadet Squadron.

The Harry S. Truman Squadron is raising funds for their Summer Training which will take place in the Norfolk, VA area.

With access to the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Oceana Naval Air Station and Naval Special Warfare Development Group at Dam Neck, VA, this should be the opportunity of a lifetime for these outstanding young men and women.
