May 26 Memorial Day Sunday Dinner and Concert/Service Academy Alumni

Sunday, 26 May 2024 – 1700 – Memorial Day Celebration – Dinner and KC Symphony Concert

The associations of graduates of the Air Force Academy, Annapolis, and West Point cordially invite you to our annual dinner honoring our American Veterans and the Fallen.  This annual celebration in the private dining room at Pierponts at Union Station will be followed by the Kansas City Symphony’s Celebration at the Station concert.

Location:  Pierponts Restaurant at Union Station, 30 W. Pershing Rd, KC, MO 64108 (816-221-5111) (Belvedere Private Dining room, second floor)

Date/Time:  Sunday, 26 May 2024, 1700 (5:00 pm)

Guest Speaker:  Navy RADM Scott Jerabek, USN Ret (works for Honeywell locally in Belton, MO)

Dinner Options: (Note: Actually selection will be made at the door upon arrival)

WEDGE SALAD| scallions, tomatoes, bacon, lemon parmesan dressing

Choice of one:

KC STRIP| 12 oz. cut, roasted garlic whipped potatoes, baby green beans, and maître d’ butter

BLACKENED RAINBOW TROUT| herb risotto, roasted tomatoes, chimichurri sauce

GRILLED CHICKEN PASTA| grilled squash, roasted tomatoes, pistachio pesta, sherry vinegar

Coffee, tea, and water

CRÈME BRÛLÈE

Cash Bar: Will be open before, during and after dinner.

Cost: $70/plate (taxes and gratuities included)

Dress: Business Attire (Active Duty and Military Veterans are encouraged to wear their uniforms in honor of veterans and the fallen on Memorial Day Weekend.)

KC Symphony Seating:  KCAOG has once again negotiated a limited number of VIP passes and VIP seats for the concert immediately following dinner.  Tickets are $60/seat (a $20 discount). Tickets will be handed out at dinner. This is a donation to the KC Symphony via VIP seating.

Reservations: Due to very limited space in the Belvedere Private Dining room, early reservations are highly recommended and very much requested!!!  Registration will close on Sunday, May 22nd at midnight. Cancellation deadline for refunds is also 22 May.  Those wishing to attend after reservations are closed may sign up on a waiting list in this registration.  They will be contacted if reservations become available for them.
