2024 Army Navy Watch Party December 14

The 2024 Army Navy Watch Party and the Greater Kansas City Metro Chapter Holiday Party (Combined) will be on December 14, 2024 at the the home of Thomas ’97 and Karen Strenge. The Strenge’s have a large home in the Old Northeast Section of Kansas City, just next to the famous Kansas City Museum. Thomas will be taking over as President of the Greater Kansas City Metro Chapter in 2025.

The cost of the event is $25 per person including food and drink and we encourage you to register here and pay in advance on-line.

There will be a buffet station lunch/dinner provided and drinks (beer, wine, soft drinks).

There will be raffle prize tickets sold so bring cash ($5, $10, and $20 bills). The raffle prizes are Navy logoed items purchased from the Midshipman Store at a 25% off sale price in November. We also have some Navy memoribillia dontated by the sons (Don and Dale) Roenigh from the recently deceased Ivan L. Roenigk ’49. Ivan knew Jimmy Carter ’47 and he and his wife visited Jimmy and Roselyn in Plains GA some years ago. Ivan was also friends with Wesley Brown ’49 the first African American to graduate from USNA.  Wesley Brown Fieldhouse at USNA is named for him. Drawings will be held at halftime and at the end of the 3rd Quarter.
