NAVY vs North Texas

(From Annapolis)

Television Watch Party

        1:30 PM, Saturday, October 7, 2023
      Double Shift Brewery
       406 E 18th Street, Kansas City, MO 64108

(Game Time Kickoff– 2:30 PM Central)

On Saturday, October 7 we will have a Navy Football Game Watch Party at a new place, Double Shift Brewery in the CrossRoads District downtown. Come join us for lunch at 1:30 PM, and the Kickoff is at 2:30 PM Central, being televised on the CBS Sports Network. The owners of this establishment are both West Point alumni Class of 2006, Pat and Allison. They are very nice folks and have been urging us to do a watch party there. Next door in the Red Sash Brewery West Point alumni will be watching their game at 11:00 AM again Boston College. This is a brewery so it is family friendly and children are welcome. There are video games etc there for them to play. Double shift does not serve food but you can bring food in and we suggest you go directly across the street to Mission Taco before the game for lunch. Debra and I ate there yesterday it was great. Or nearby are Pizza Shuttle (will deliver) and Grinders directly across the street too. Parking is on the street (usually available) or there is a paid public lot (inexpensive) adjacent to Double Shift that will take a credit card.
We welcome any USNA parents or fans too. We also welcome any Navy League members or Navy/Marine Corps veterans, other veterans and friends of USNA alumni.
RSVP not necessary but if you want to alert me you will be there:  Bob Culler 913 488-6319, or reply back to this email:

The uniform of the day is: Anything Navy or Marine Corps

Navy is favored in this game by 5 1/2 points (61 1/2 over/under) according to the latest Las Vegas odds. So let’s have a good turnout to celebrate a Navy win and get our season back on track. The next six games are winnable: Charlotte, Air Force (in Annapolis), UAB, Temple, SMU, and ECU.
