December 2 Roadtrip to Weston, MO

This is a day road trip to Weston, MO for Christmas shopping and general sightseeing. This is for West Point, Naval Academy, and Air Force Academy Alumni, and families/friends. Weston is about an hours drive north from the south Metro and it just north of Leavenworth, KS. The trip is on December 2, the week before the Army-Navy game. If you are interested please respond back to LTCOL Greg Shuey, the AFA Alumni President at ASAP, NLT November 25, as we need a headcount soon:

DECEMBER – CHRISTMAS IN WESTON, MO, ROAD TRIP– INTEREST COUNT NEEDED:

Date:   Saturday, 2 December 2017

Time:   0800 to 1600

Place:  Weston, MO

Activities:    Historic Homes Tour, Shopping in Historic Weston Business District, Lunch in the Irish Pub and Sightseeing

Cost:    Bus transportation is expected to be about $15/person round trip depending upon the number of participants. We are shooting for 45-50 passengers to make this a big event.

Historic Homes Tour Tickets (optional) are $15 (in advance) and $20 at the door. (Tickets are available via the Weston Chamber of Commerce office at (816) 640-2909.)

We have a number of folks who have responded with interest in going on our first road trip.  But we need considerably more participants to arrange for affordable bus transportation.  If you are interested in going but have not yet responded to LTCOL Shuey ASAP.
